The Junior League of Brooklyn (JLB) is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

ONGOING PROJECTS

OUT OF THE BOX FINANCIAL LITERACY
The program teaches students the skills necessary to master financial independence through educational classes on Banking, Budgeting, Investing, Securing and Maintaining Credit and Entrepreneurship. Upon completion of the program, students graduate with the skills top maintain a secure financial future in addition to completed resumes, business cards, a mock stock portfolio account and a checking account with a major banking institution.
