• October 15th-Shift work from 7am to 2:30pm. Work at the Registration tent or product sales tent, hand out refreshments or volunteer for the clean-up crew

Event: Halloween Carnival at Camp Friendship in Park Slope
Help to make the Halloween Carnival a real treat for at-risk and children with illnesses with Puppetry Arts Theatre.
Details:
• October 27th beginning at 7pm-Set up a Haunted House and other carnival events! Snacks will be provided
• October 28th beginning at 1pm-Hand out costumes donated by Disney to the children; work at the carnival games and refreshment stands. Lunch will be provided by Outback.
Location: Camp Friendship 339 8th Street between 5th and 6th. (F or R train to 9th Street)
Volunteers are also needed to play a Wicked Witch and Fortune Teller, and to give tours of the haunted house!

This Time Last Year: Members of the Fall, 2005 Provisional Class presented their class project and were introduced to the General Membership of the Junior League of Brooklyn as New Active Members at the Mid-Year Meeting in January.
The ladies completed a project for Women's Survival Space, a shelter for women and their children who are victims of domestic abuse. They rennovated the lobby as well as collected donations and compiled "exit kits" to help the women leaving the shelter to get a jump start on setting up their new home.
